You may think that a white and ivory wedding is a contradiction to my Week of Color.  I think walking into a purely white room can only enhance all of the color around you.  It will give a soft and romantic feel while highlighting every bit of color that your friends and family bring into the room.

If you need to tie in some color, add a fun design like the dress shown below from white house black market.

White + Ivory will always keep a clean sophisticated look that you can’t go wrong with!

I can not get enough of this color combination! The navy keeps the atmosphere chic and classy, while the pop of bright orange screams fun and carefree!  Whether you choose orange roses, calla lillies or gerbera daisies, these flowers will stand out in a bold way at your wedding.

If orange doesn’t catch your eye…fushia pink is another color that looks great with Navy, as well as bright green!

Vendors are receiving more orders for passion purple than ever before!  This rich, deep color at your wedding will create a luxurious atmosphere  for your guests.  Colors such as silver, ivory and deep reds complement this purple shade well.

Strut your way down the aisle in these ‘to die for’ Oscar de la Renta shoes.  The jewel on the ankle strap gives them a vintage chic feel!

I love the use of lighting to make the entire room glow royally!  Have a spot light to light up the dance floor, with up-lighting around the room.

Give your gals a cute clutch to bring with them on the day of the wedding, I love the pattern on the one shown below tied up with a darling bow!

One of the hottest color combinations we are seeing this year in weddings is aqua and red.  This will always be one of my favorite duos, the bold colors complementing each other makes for gorgeous wedding decor! Use the aqua as the main backdrop and red as a pop of color in most of the details of the day.

As all of the upcoming spring and summer brides are preparing for their outdoor weddings, why not create a program that is not only informative but functional and fun!  I love these fan programs for outdoor weddings, they are a great DIY project that your guests will appreciate!

They are a bit time consuming but worth every minute! Make sure you order heavy card stock for your paper so that your fans aren’t flimsy.  Cut the ribbons to the length and thickness that you desire and then gather a group of your bridesmaids and start an assembly line!

*Find the perfect wording/font and print them at a local copy shop

* Cut out each fan section very carefully!

* Punch a hole in the lower portion of the fan section

*Loop the ribbon through all of the fan sections

* Admire your great work!!
