Sidetrack from Weddings…

My Sister is having a baby and is due in two months!  Although this post isn’t about weddings directly – seeing her happily married and now expecting is an extremely happy time for me and the two of them in their relationship.  They are passing another milestone in their journey!

I have been searching through all of the cute baby clothes, decor and toys that are made for the babes and I am loving it all.  It made me think back to one of the classics, Dr. Seuss.  After reading back over quotes from his books I realize how we can apply so many of these books to all of our daily lives.  So in honor of my sister I am dedicating this post and these great quotes to her!

A person’s a person, no matter how small.
— Dr. Seuss

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled ’till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.

You didn’t mention- you’ll be an awesome AUNT in two months!

To add: I’m such a Dr Seuss geek, I can name where pretty much every quote here came from, and pick out the ones that aren’t actually from Dr Seuss’ books. Thanks, sis!
