Outrageous Engagement

I can only imagine the hours guys spend planning and worrying about finally popping the big question.  The pressure that surrounds them to create a story that will be told for years after of how sweet, unique and creative their proposal was.  Some go to great heights in air balloons, some travel across the globe and some head to their local Wendy’s to enjoy a chocolate frosty!

Little did Reed Harris know that after he put the beautiful ring in the frosty and invited their group of friends to join in the celebration, his girlfriend, Kaitlin Harris would mistakenly swallow it.  When challenged to a frosty eating contest, she did not slow down for a second, not even to feel the ring going down her throat!

The goal of most proposals is to create an unforgettable day, topped by no other. I don’t think anyone could argue that Reed went over and above this goal and Kaitlin will be telling her story for years to come!

What was your outrageous story that happened at your wedding?

I saw this on Ellen and told the kids about it last night at dinner. They were grossed out. 🙂 Ha!
